Custom Processing

At Lake Haven Custom Meat Processing, we can custom process your beef, pigs, sheep and goats. Our facility is spacious, clean and newly constructed. We work alongside area farmers and producers to also service local consumers with quality beef and pork which is available in custom cut halves and quarters. Please see below for our current services and prices.

$.75 /pound hot hanging weight – Slaughter, Hang and Process

$40/ Hog – Slaughter without processing

BOXES

We will always box up your custom order in recycled boxes for free! This option is if you prefer to deliver to your customers in plain unmarked purchased boxes.

STORAGE FEE

$5.00/Day

You have three days from date of notification that your order is ready to pick up your product. Any order held more than three days without prior arrangements made, will be charged $5.00 per day. 

 

SCHEDULING & PICK UP

Lake Haven Meats will try and accommodate you the best we can. Appointment dates must be set ahead of time. We DO NOT take animals that are already slaughtered. Prompt pick-up is always appreciated! Personal obligations occasionally may take us away from the shop during regular business hours, so please contact us before you plan on picking up your order.

SMOKING

For pork orders that have smoking items, please allow 2-3 weeks from the processing date for finished product. We will contact you when your order is fully complete. Pick-up of regular non smoked items ahead of time is also appreciated, as freezer room is always an issue.

ORDERING CUSTOM BEEF/PORK

If you are interested in purchasing a custom quarter / half of beef or pork from us, please give us a call or send us a message. We will reach out to our local farmers and get you on the schedule. The price for beef in 2018 is $3.29/ hang weight which includes processing. Pork prices will vary on time of year and availability. Please give us a call for more information.  We will also be available at the Moose Lake Area Farmers Market on Saturdays in the summer starting Memorial Day weekend. Stop by and see Randy!
